Yeah if your computer can run Cave Story it should run Crimzon Clover.

PSA: The eXceed series no longer requires compatibility hacks to run at 60FPS when using Windows 10. I've verified this on two Windows 10 laptops. If you have Windows 10 and are looking for a quality Touhou clone then eXceed 3rd for $2.39 is a good deal.

Siter Skain looks to deliver again.

Also that next trailer for "Akiragoya" you warned about, in spite of girls wearing tape to barely cover their nethers instead of any sensible clothes, looks really good. Very Deathsmiles like in several areas. I'll consider both of these on my watch list.

We are indeed releasing Eschatos for PC!

Expected release date is mid September. Price is still being finalized, but we expect it will be somewhere around 15 USD. The amazing OST will be available as lossless FLAC (recommended, Yousuke Yasui goodness). Judgement Silversword and Cardinal Sins are planned as well, but the details aren't finalized just yet. Will mention additional info as I get it.

I hope it does well enough to get Ginga Force localized. It is a great game too but the language barrier prevented me from enjoying the game much.

Would definitely buy Ginga Force a second time if it got translated.

Of course, that's a much bigger project than any of Degica's releases so far...

So far I l'm liking Raiden IV but damn do I suck. I should find a good weapon combo and stick to it. Seems all the achievements are for the Overkill mode but I've been playing in Arcade Mode.

I have Raiden on my PS3 (won in a raffle lol) but I found it really hard to play because of my TV... I really need something to let go the TATE way.

Also, I felt that the game was kind of brutal for a novice. I do suck at SHUMPS even though I love them but the screen aspect (in a 42" HDTV) + difficulty really overkilled(HAHA) the experience for me,

I'll definitely give it another go on the future though.

It has full TATE and it's a much better port than Raiden III. Which makes sense, given that this port was made in 2015 instead of 2005 or whatever.

Only issue is a 1080p cap and apparently Arcade mode has the same difficulty tweaks that the PS3 port had (according to a dude on shmupsforum).

Game looks amazing in motion. Still can't believe they have to go through the Greenlight process to put the sequel on STEAM.

Blankfield is also doing the soundtrack again. So... yeah.

Posted this in the STEAM thread. Figured this should be posted here as well.

Also, for those that don't know that this exists there is a Shoot'em Up currently in "Early Access" for people to try for FREE called Drifting Lands by Alkemi. It's got some lite RPG elements incorporated to it along with MOBA styled cool downs. It looks and runs great so far and has a smorgasbord of graphical settings for those with higher end rigs. Be careful it will bring your rig to a crawl if you're not running something decent.

They've been working on this game for a while now. I played it when the first build came around. It has really come far and looks fantastic. Their latest build has added 2 more ship models.

So just played Raiden IV, whilst its a good port i really wish developers would use the widescreen real estate more by moving the score, bombs and other info from the main game screen and putting on the side where the rubbish artwork lives.....heck even Megadrive Truxton did it right all those years ago!

Also is 1080p the highest you can go?

PS. did Under Defeat ever get a PC port?

1080p does seem to be the max unfortunately, and nah, none of G.Rev's games have a PC port.

It is in between CAVE and MOSS in terms of bullet hell and regular shmup, bullets aren't too overwhelming but they aren't fast as shit like in Raiden. Eschatos is has the most innovative enemy patterns I've seen in recent times, really fucking solid game design. If I didn't already own the Eschatos/Ginga Force double pack, I'd be all over this. Also, the OST is god tier. On release I'll probably slap together an OT to try to get GAF to check out the game.

I pray to Yagawa every day that we see more of Natsuki Chronicle at this year's TGS.

Easy mode is very 1cc-eable on Original Mode. Once you learn how to use the shield you're absolutely set. If you want more impressions check out this thread at the shmups forum. I would post 1cc runs from youtube but I advice against it. The game has some really neat bosses that is better for you to experience first hand, I definitely went "holy shit" in a couple of them. :D

On another subject, what's been the go with bullet hell (or bullet hell "lite") releases on iOS? I bought the sequel to Icarus-X a little while ago, but other than that it looks to be fairly skint on Apple's platform :(

I'm the same. I love to play them but I rarely get very far and I'm more just a fan of loving lots of shit going on the screen at once, whether it needs to be avoided (ie. bullets) or not (ie. pickups). It's why I love Mars Matrix so much... not excessively difficult (it is to me, but I don't think it's "hardcore") but there's a lot going on and it has meaty explosions. I'd love to see a proper mobile port.

Yes, is it. I just refunded my purchase because of it.

I will happy rebuy if the resolution limit is patched out.
