Hey everyone,

I would like to introduce you to our new shmup for Xbox One and Wii-U: Teslapunk

Features:
- 6 Arcade Levels: Each individual level featuring a very different style and feel
- Survival Mode: A more casual gameplay, level up your ship and buy helpful items

The Xbox One version releases this Wednesday, the 7th October.
While the Wii-U version is unfortunatelly delayed. But it is also on it's way, it will just take a little longer to get out.

I know you chaps have been working on TP and refining the play for a while now since the first time I tried it on Ouya back in 2013

Yeah, I am also happy, that it has a real console version now.

Just picked this up on the XBox One, and am enjoying it thus far.

Hallo, Big thank you for releasing this on the Xbox One its the first STG on the system. I don't really like indie or Euro shoot em ups but Teslapunk is better then 90% of other Shooters. Thorsten , Timo and Michael you did a brilliant job and you guys didn't have Caves $3 million budget. What was MS reason for not letting you release this in Japan? and do you think you guys will make more Shooting Games in the future. Thank you.

In seriousness, congrats on the release - I don't have either of those systems, but if this ever comes to one I do have I'll definitely be looking out for it.

I played the free version of this on iOS, which I thought was a bit easy (touch-screen shmups usually are, though). Has the difficulty been upped for this release?

I play this also on iOS and Windows Phone. Looking forward to the Wii U release; it'll be an instant purchase.

Bought it today for xbone and I´m really surprised how good it is. It has cool scoring mechanics and it plays very well.It´s fun to play this game and it`s really impressive for an indie shmup!

Wow, thanks a lot for that nice feedback.

We didn't submit it for the Japanese marketplace, because it is quite a hassle to get it on there and the for CERO (Japanese age rating) would also cost us money, if I remember correctly. Considering that the Xbox did very poor in Japan and our game is quiet a niche product, we didn't take the risk of bringing it to Japan... at least for now.

BTW, the mobile versions of Teslapunk are vastly different to the console game. The mobile versions are like very early alpha versions of the game. Since the iOS version the whole game changed a lot and was reworked from the ground. So, please don't judge it by the iOS version and check out the free demo on Xbox.

Have you had to rewrite your game or you are still using same engine from back then?

PS: We develop games too. I remember having being together in the charts when we released Beekyr.

I agree, I prefer PS4, but if there is no future port, I would buy this on XB1.

Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for making this game, I had a ton of fun with it! Last night I finished getting all of the achievements, and landed at around 15th or so on each of the leaderboards. Lots of fun, and expert was a nice challenge.

Also wanted to drop in and give some thanks for this. I somehow overlooked this back when it released (I usually scavenge the new release lists pretty thoroughly) but just picked it up today on Xbox One and am loving it so far.

I'll be streaming it in the near future and anyone who wants to check it out can watch if they haven't already.
